Our Deepest Fear

I have found that I have had to personally experience every issue that The Path to Heal helps people address. As I have been bringing The Path out to the world in a very public manner I have had a chest cold that didn’t want to go away. And as I was given insight as to why my voice was “stuck” I also realized my deepest fear so beautifully described in this poem by Marianne Williamson.

OUR DEEPEST FEAR
Our Deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small doesn’t save the world.
There is nothing enlightening about shrinking, so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
It is not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.

As we let our light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

The 6th Dimension of The Path to Heal is about releasing blocks to empowerment which for most is the same as releasing blocks to “our deepest fear” (and helped me release my cold). This is an amazing dimension of study because the insights come from such a buried place but lead to such deep “aha’s” once uncovered as they certainly have for me. I am looking forward to sharing this dimension with others so that we can all feel empowered to bring our light to the world.
